Description:
A spectacular success of theoretical physics of the past years was the full solution to the planar spectrum of a four dimensional gauge theory, N=4 SYM theory. The main weapon in this endeavour was integrability and more precisely integrability techniques for studying the spectrum of integrable models. Recently, the interest of the community has extended to the study of richer still observables in this gauge theory such as three point functions. To study them, integrability seems to be crucial once more but in a more subtle way. The appearance of form factors, twist operators, minimal areas for punctured spheres are all different facets of this fascinating problem. With this very informal workshop we hope to bring together the experts working on different aspects of three point correlations in AdS/CFT, integrability experts and conformal field theory practitioners. We shall share ideas, results and spark new collaborations and activity.
This small program is the natural follow up of the “Integrable Approaches to 3pt functions in AdS5/CFT4” 2015 workshop in Budapest: with a few tweaks. Instead of a rigid talk schedule we shall organize various informal discussion sessions. Each session has an associated topic (such as String Field Theory vertex, Spin Chain approach, Classical Strings, 4pt CFT Bootstrap, Hexagons, Regge and other limits, N=4 deformations, Perturbation Theory etc.) and one discussion leader who will give an overview presentation on the topic. After a short break, the session leader will then call up people to the blackboard to present interesting results related to that particular topic.
There will be no registration form for this activity.
