Please explain the reasons for your ratings and describe both the positive and negative features of the ICTP-SAIFR event in which you participated.

It's a pity that some lecturers couldn't come.

Overall, the lectures where quite good, however I think the auditorium had bad ventilation and, because of it, it was hard to remain focused, specially during hot days.

Both the lectures and the content were complete and useful. It was a good choise of topics.

Very well level of the lecturers. It was obvious that everyone has a very good background in their respective fields, and the lectures were, in general, very clear.

I did not receive economical support

I think the organization did a bery goood job. I would have add just a little bit more variety to the coffee break. Regarding the lectures, most of them were excellent: interesting, compelling, with a nice flow, pedalogical but also with that extra for advanced students. The discussion session and the exercise solving part of the school were quite important in the achievement of my personal goals.

Eduardo Pontón and Fabio Iocco were also really good, but i gave them a 9 out of 10 because they had to give a lecture with a presentation not prepared by them. Anyway, they handled it very well. All the lectures were interesting and very useful for my formation in the field, and with info about the latest experiments by top level researchers. Excelent school, excelent organization, and always good predisposition to solve any kind of problem related or non related to the subject.

Eduardo's lectures using Tim's slides where the weakest of all.

The event was very great! I suggest answer of some of the exercices.

It was a great environment to ask for question to the professors, all of them have a great predisposition to explain.

I think that the school was very well organised and that all the speakers where excellent.

It was very well organized, the only unfortunated thing was the nom-presencial participation of Tim Tait. However it was quite fun via Skype

Please write any suggestions on how to improve the quality of future ICTP-SAIFR events.

The air conditioning in the auditorium could have been better.

In my opinion, besides the time window given for undergraduate-young phd student presentations, there should be another adequate time window for advanced phd - postdoc, to discuss new results in the field plus discussions.

I think that schools like this one are a very good opportunity, besides learning about the topics through the lectures, exercises and discussions, to meet other students that are interested in the same area of research and exchange ideas and questions. I think that we, the students, could have benefited more in this aspect if there were a better infrastructure. Thus, we could have shared more free time together, like during lunch and/or dinner.

The chairs of the auditorium were slightly uncomfortable.

I think that it is necessary more time doing excercises in the school and a little less lectures. That means, the time reserve to do excercise everyday was too less in comparasion to the time spend in the lectures, and I think that as we are in physics, the method to really learn is doing, not just listening.

When I apply to the school, there were no info regarding poster or student presentations. I think it would have been nicer to put this in advanced, also because it helps to get funding from our institutes and universities.

Clarify the "poster presentation" and the "student presentation" system with more time.

The part of posters, no one knew about it.

Maybe the pdf of the lectures could be released earlier to allow more previously studies

I do not have any suggestions. I think it was just great.
